Onboarding and Training
I conduced a needs assessment of former career advisors to determine factors in a high attrition rate for the department. A lengthy onboarding process was one of the contributing factors.
In response, I designed a comprehensive onboarding and training plan to reduce training from 6 months to 2-3 months. ​This plan consists of a Canvas resource hub, in-person training sessions, and appointment observation and reflection with seasoned career advisors.
