INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN

Career/Major Exploration Course Redesign

I redesigned and taught both in-person and online sections of an undergraduate career/major exploration course. Utilizing backwards design and alignment, I ensured materials supported learning objectives.

For the in-person section, I built a supplemental LMS course for to provide accessibility for a wide range of learners. This included developing curriculum including additional lesson plans, rubrics, and formative assessments for course assignments. I then converted the in-person course to fully online, asynchronous instruction that complies with WCAG guidelines and adult learning best practices.
